The site is made for the first Depeche Mode bar in Russia which opened its doors in Moscow on September 7th. The bar is situated near Mayakovskaya subway station - the famous so-called "Mayak" (Lighhouse) - the well-known meeting place to Depeche Mode fans that kept its reputation for many years.

In the atmosphere of obscured entourage the whole epoch of legendary British band passes before the eyes of the visitor. Each and every bit of this site has been thoroughly chosen. The true admirer of Depeche Mode music will find numerous familiar elements. For example, the taxi, a la It's No Good or the plane carrying the Ultra motto, the shadows on the wall of the building cast by the mysterious creatures (reminiscences of some paintings by Jeranimus Bosch) from "Waling in my shoes" video. Even the fence pikes were not picked randomly… On the road sign - the distance to Basildon, the city in which the musicians grew up.
